Artistic Guitars is thrilled to be working with Joseph Knaggs Guitars. Joseph S. Knaggs is a world renowned designer and luthier and has built some of the most exquisite guitars made in the last decade for stars such as Carlos Santana and Al Di Meola. Joe was most recently Director of the Private Stock Program and head of R&D at PRS Guitars. The Choptank is a single cutaway, “Tele style” six on a side, long scale guitar. The Choptank can be purchased in one of three finish levels. This “Aged Ivory” finished Tier 3 guitar has a swamp ash body. Nickel hardware and a distinctive Wenge pickguard give the Choptank a classy look. The fingerboard is made of smooth and creamy Cocobolo. 3 Seymour Duncan SSL pickups best that great Tele twang sound. We have low serial numbers of many models including the Choptank.
